APPQMR (Applying the Quality Matters Rubric) is the Quality Matters (QM) flagship workshop on the QM Rubric, which is used in reviewing the design of online and blended courses. The workshop is designed for all faculty and administrators. It is particularly helpful to those new to QM.

Quality Matters: Improving Your Online Course
(for Full-Time and Part-Time Faculty)
The Improving Your Online Course workshop explores the QM Rubric and provides a framework to improve the quality of online courses. Participants use the QM Rubric to review their own online courses and develop a course improvement plan.
This workshop is offered in two different formats:
- In-Person via Zoom, for four hours on one day.
- Online in Canvas over a two week period with no synchronous meetings.
- NOTE: This workshop requires 10-15 hours of asynchronous time each week.

You can check to see if you have completed a QM course using our search form. You can also log into Quality Matters, click My Activity, and My Certificates to view and print any QM workshops certificates.
NOTE: Workshop fees are only paid by the eLC when faculty and staff register for a workshop using the forms above. If faculty or staff register for a workshop though the QM website, the eLC is not responsible for any associated fees.
