The OAB will review Live (Synchronous) Online courses, Fully Online, and Hybrid courses that are developed as a Blueprint course or a Department Standardized course.

OAB Course Review Priorities

• Priority 1: Courses offered online that are assigned by Deans for development as a district template.

• Priority 2: Courses offered as hybrid or blended that are assigned by Deans for development as a district template.

• Priority 3: Courses offered online or hybrid that have been approved by OAB as a single course, but not as a template.  

All fully online and hybrid courses should have an OAB approved District Template.

• Courses requesting an OAB review should submit a District Template Request Form
  • Faculty who are creating a district template, must first complete Teaching with Canvas at Collin College.

Deadline for OAB Course Reviews:

• Spring 2026 – April 21, 2025
• Summer 2026 – September 8, 2025
• Fall 2026 – October 24, 2025
