Institutional Effectiveness

WHAT IS INSTITUTIONAL EFFECTIVENESS?
Institutional Effectiveness is an on-going, college-wide process of planning and outcomes assessment, in order to document that the college is achieving its mission and goals and assisting in the continuous improvement of its programs and services.

OUR MISSION

INSTITUTIONAL EFFECTIVENESS AT COLLIN COLLEGE
The purpose of Institutional Effectiveness (IE) at Collin College is to demonstrate the use of assessment results to improve student learning and the services provided to students as required by our regional accrediting association, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB). As well, we support ongoing accreditation activities and provide information on planning and effectiveness to the decision makers at Collin College.
