The Recruitment and Programs for New Students Department
works collaboratively within the campus community to provide
a clear and consistent message to all audiences. Publications
(References 1, 2, 3, 4) from the Department
of Recruitment and Programs for New Students are reviewed
by Public Relations to ensure the College image is accurately
portrayed. Various College departments work through Public
Relations to create accurate and up-to-date flyers and brochures
for the College’s community audience.
Information is distributed at a variety of events and provided
upon request to individuals. Distribution venues include
high school recruitment activities, campus tours, new student
orientations, staff and faculty orientations, the Mentor
Program, Student Ambassadors for Diversity (Spectrum), Special
Admissions outreach, Transfer Express, and community outreach.
