• Collin College has added CRIJ 1301-Introduction to Criminal Justice to the Social/Behavioral Sciences Foundational Component Area! 

Welcome to the Academic Services / Curriculum Office, located at the Collin Higher Education Center, Suite 438.  

This office plays a vital role as a resource for you in keeping your curriculum current.

The Academic Services / Curriculum Office is responsible for the following activities:

• Ensure that Collin College is in compliance with the policies of Collin's Board of Trustees, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB), and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
• Provide administrative and compliance support to the Curriculum Advisory Board (CAB), Collin's vehicle for a faculty-driven curriculum process.
• Assist deans, directors, discipline leads and faculty in developing new programs and  academic courses to ensure transferability as appropriate.
• Serve as a resource to discipline leads in establishing goals, objectives, and learning outcomes of proposed program curricula and identifying and validating related skill standards.
• Ensure the accuracy of catalog descriptions of programs and courses.
• Notify the Metroplex Higher Education Regional Council (MHERC) of pending new programs.
