President - Tricia Murray
Tricia started with Collin in fall of 2020, first as as Administrative Assistant to the Anthony Peterson Center for Academic Assistance (APCAA) and the American National Bank of Texas Honors Institute located at the Wylie Campus, and since spring 2021, she began her position as the Client Services Specialist in the Communications Department. She has since been promoted in the fall of 2022 to Client Services Coordinator. Tricia oversees and reviews all promotional and advertising assets as well maintain the main database for promotional and advertising requests across the district.
Vice President - Cherry Brown
Cherry began her journey with Collin College in the fall of 2017 as an Academic Advisor at the McKinney Campus. In the spring of 2019, she was promoted to District College and Career Counselor at the Courtyard Center, where she took on the responsibility of managing the admissions and advising team while overseeing office operations.
Beyond her role, Cherry conducts district-wide training sessions on Continuing Education and played a pivotal role in enhancing student engagement by creating and conducting the college’s first Continuing Education orientation. Since 2017, she has also been an active member of the foundation scholarship committee, reviewing and scoring student essays to support scholarship distribution. Additionally, Cherry serves as a Notary Public for Collin College.
With a dedication to student achievement and institutional growth, Cherry continues to play a vital role in guiding students toward their academic and career goals.
Treasurer - Diana Kollman
Diana has worked at Collin College full-time since March 2015. She currently works at the Technical campus. This is her second time on Staff Council and her first year as the Treasurer. She is grateful for the opportunity to help with many of Collin College's annual student and staff recognition events.
Recorder - Katie Brumbelow
Katie has worked at Collin College at the Celina Campus since October 2021, shortly after it opened. She started as a District College and Career Counselor in Student and Enrollment Services and is now a Reference Associate in the campus library. She facilitates the monthly community book club, serves as chair of the campus appreciation committee, is circulation lead and serves on the campus ERT. District-wide she enjoys reading and reviewing the scholarship applications for the foundation committee.
