ZogoTech Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence System

The Collin College ZogoTech Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence System is a secure, central repository of data that integrates information from various institutional administrative systems. It stores current and historical data that are used to support operational reporting and strategic analysis. The goal of the data warehouse is to support better, faster, data-informed decision making. With this data, users can uncover trends, enable critical thinking, and help in the institution's operational decision making.

Initially integrated in 2016, the data warehouse has advanced in terms of content, information delivery tools, and data integration capabilities to provide consistent and reliable information to decision makers.

For colleges and departments looking for a way to analyze data for their daily operations, the data warehouse can be a valuable resource.

Using the ZogoTech system, users can run reports designed to find information about Student Demographics, Course Enrollment, Financial Aid, Degree and Certificate Completion, along with many other sources of information. Amoung the current data sources are NSC (National Student Clearinghouse), and CANVAS data. The system gives users the ability to run a variety of existing reports from a high level to a very granular level of detail.

Update Schedule

All data is refreshed nightly to ensure timely and accurate data for end-users. The current load window of the data warehouse is 10:30pm - 5:00am. During this time, the data is being refreshed and the system will be unavailable.

Access

The links on this page will take you to the ZogoTech system. Once you receive trianing and your access is authroized, you will be able to access the system using your Collin College credentials.

All full-time administrators and staff have access to the data warehouse. Full-time and adjunct faculty may request access via their Academic Dean who will then forward the request to the appropriate personnel. Part-time staff may request access through their immediate supervisor who will then forward the request to the appropriate personnel.
