In this section, you can find information on how to reimburse employees for business related travel.  There are three types of travel:  local, professional, and student field trips.  Local travel is within the North Central Texas area and does not include overnight stays or prepaid registration.   Professional travel includes travel for training and development and usually requires a registration fee and/or overnight stay.  Student field trips are any trips (local or distant) in which students are involved.  Staff and faculty can use the provided mileage chart or print mileage from sources on the internet (Example:  Yahoo - Maps).  Employees can also use the State Comptroller's Mileage Guide at  http://www.window.state.tx.us/comptrol/texastra.html.
