Developmental Education courses are designed to
provide students with the basic skills needed to achieve success
in college-level courses and to pass TASP. Courses are
offered in math, reading, writing, and English as a Second
Language. The instructional formats vary and include
self-paced study and lecture.
Our mission is to provide students with skills necessary
to succeed in credit level courses. Via small classes and
personalized attention, students can overcome their basic skills
deficits in mathematics, reading, writing and English As a Second
Language.
In addition
to the courses, Developmental Education also offers study skills
seminars that teach students basic study and test-taking
skills.
